Types of sentences¶

• 평서형 — declarative ("it is")
• 의문형 — interrogative/question ("is it?")
• 명령형 — imperative ("do it")
• 청유형 — propositive/hortative ("let's do it")
• 감탄형 — exclamatory ("how...!")

Some analyses add:

• 허락형 — permissive ("you may do it") — e.g. 먹어도 돼
• 약속형 — promissive ("I will do it") — e.g. 갈게
